Rupert Ford

Director

Rupert has over 20 years experience and has worked on a number of  private bespoke new-build houses and renovation projects through to working onsite with contractors and specialists.

 

He has worked for a range of private and  commercial clients, focusing on residential public and education sectors. Rupert is an imaginative, thorough and highly creative architect, who enjoys working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to achieve the highest of standards.

 

Rupert combines his work in architecture with a passion for classic cars and engineering. He has restored several vehicles in his spare time, whilst trying to juggle a growing family.

Georgia Gollop

Architect

​​​Georgia is a qualified architect with a passion for residential architecture that developed from a long standing enthusiasm for design and interiors. 

 

After graduating from the University of Westminster, Georgia developed a broad range of experience across multiple industry sectors.  

 

At Holden Ford she enjoys specialising in the design, planning and construction of bespoke homes.

Outside of the office, Georgia enjoys renovating her home, running, baking and long walks with her dog.

William Langton

BSc (Hons)

Architectural Assistant

William graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, where his final year project was featured in Dezeen.

 

He likes like to approach projects through a historical lens, drawing on archival research and thoughtful analysis to inform his design process.

​

At Holden Ford, William makes a strong contribution across projects, applying both creative design thinking and solid technical expertise.  â€‹Alongside his professional work, he is completing his Master's in Architecture.

​

Outside the office, William enjoys staying active and plays a range of sports, recently taking up padel. He also spends his free time hiking with friends and occasionally embracing a cold plunge.

Office Manager

Val joined Holden Ford in 1988, and effortlessly manages all aspects of office administration and finance. In addition, she is responsible for the daily activities involved in running the practice

Michael Gwynn

BA(Hons) Dip.Arch.ARB

Associate Director

Michael completed his architectural studies at Cardiff University in 2007 before working for a number of high profile London practices and gaining experience across a wide range of project types including mixed use developments and large multi-unit residential schemes. 

 

Michael then spent ten years at Dyer Grimes Architects, rising to Senior Associate and gaining considerable experience in the design, management & construction of bespoke homes.

 

Whether working on refurbishments, basements, listed buildings or one-off new build houses, Michael combines strong creative and organisational skills with a collaborative approach to successfully deliver complex projects for demanding clients.

James Hanson

BArch(Hons), MArch

Part II Architectural Assistant

James is a Graduate Architect who earned a Master of Architecture degree from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.

 

Throughout his academic journey James was awarded the John Fitzgerald Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship awarded to students who are forward-looking and aim to further their architecture knowledge, techniques, or developments. This scholarship is proudly supported by Holden Ford and created the opportunity for James join the office in Wimbledon.

 

James brings 2 years of Civil Construction experience having worked as a Digital Civil Engineer in New Zealand, working on various infrastructure projects throughout the North Island. 

 

Outside of the office, James is a keen Cricketer and Football player and will never miss an All-Blacks test.

Katherine Rodrigues

BA(Hons)

Architectural Assistant

Katherine is a graduate of Bath Spa University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture and received an RIBA Design Excellence Award for her final year project.

 

Having nurtured an interest in architectural design and interiors from a young age, Katherine is driven by a long-term ambition to qualify as an architect and pursue her Master's degree.

 

At Holden Ford, Katherine brings a strong passion for all aspects of bespoke residential design including interiors and landscaping, contributing invaluably across her projects.

​

Outside of the office, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes to cook for her family, as well as indulging in the occasional bit of retail therapy.
